about me.
I’m Jim, a first-generation student shaped by a journey that began in the Philippines and continued in Guam.
My journey began with resilience. My family had immigrated from the Philippines to Guam in search for a better life. Our family of five lived in a small dilapidated room in my grandfather's lot until we were abled to afford building a new home. As a child, I learned resilience from my parents: my dad building our home with his own hands, my mom guiding families in their immigration dreams, and both of them showing me that strength means lifting others along the way.
As I grew up, creativity became my anchor,...
Today, I bring together empathy, creativity, and technical expertise to design solutions that not only work but inspire. I see software as a bridge that helps us explore, connect, and push beyond the horizon.

"software engineering is the art of turning resilience and creativity into tools that connect people, create opportunity, and explore the unknown."
my projects.
